In-Person Services
During COVID-19

Central campus in-person Guidelines

New Service Times

Venture Church services are open in-person again at 9:00AM & 10:45AM. Services will also continue to be streamed live online (via Facebook & YouTube) at 9:00AM & 10:45AM.

No Need to Pre-Register for Services

In following Governor Inslee's regulations for spiritual gatherings, we can comfortably offer in-person services without the need to pre-register for the service you will attend. When choosing a service, please be aware that the 10:45AM gathering has traditionally proven to be the most full.

Your Personal Health

- People considered vulnerable to COVID-19 (over the age of 65 or those with compromised immune systems) are strongly encouraged to participate in online services until Phase 4. Volunteers in this “vulnerable” category are also strongly recommended not to serve until Phase 4.
- We will not be taking temperatures, contact tracing or requiring signed documentation of any kind.
- We ask that you “self-check” to help us stay healthy by taking your own family’s temperature in the morning prior to coming to church.
- We ask that you refrain from entering the building if you have experienced ANY COVID-19 symptoms within the last 48-hours or have been exposed to anyone with ANY COVID-19 symptoms in the past 7 days.
- Masks are required for anyone entering the building, with the exception of those with health issues. We will be selling Venture Church branded masks for $10 if you are interested in purchasing one.
- For the comfort of everyone who may attend, we will refrain from handshakes and hugs. Instead, air high-fives and air hugs are strongly encouraged.

What Venture Church will look like when you arrive:

It’s our goal that you still receive the best treatment when you arrive at Venture and have a great experience. Here are some changes you may notice when you arrive:
- Our Parking Team will greet you in the parking lot and show you to a parking spot in our front lot.
- The shuttle from the Elementary School will be discontinued for the time being.
- Following CDC guidelines, we will have a new “flow of traffic.”
There will be one entry point into church— the front (or eastern) sets of double doors
There will be one exit point from church—the back (or western) set of double doors.
This will mean that after church concludes, you will walk around the building to return to your car.
- You will be greeted at the entrance by (socially distant) greeters with air high fives and air hugs. We will refrain from welcoming you by shaking hands and hugging.
- Doors will open approximately 15 minutes before each service. Should a line form outside the main entrance, or in the lobby outside the auditorium entrance, we ask that you maintain 6 feet of social distancing.

What Venture Church will look like inside the auditorium:

You will still engage in the same quality service (worship and message) that Venture Church has always offered. Here are some changes you may notice:

- Our Ushers now seat everyone through one set of auditorium doors. Your family will be walked from the auditorium doors to a seat. To maintain proper social distancing and allow for you to worship freely, we will only seat people in every other row. There will also be 2 empty seats left between you and someone from a different household.
- We will no longer pass out Programs as you enter the service (this includes our weekly Connection Card) which we fill out together each Sunday.  An electronic version of the Program & Connection Card is available on our Venture Church app or at www.ourventure.church/cc.
- Pens & Offering Envelopes have been removed from chairs.
- We encourage you to give online using the Venture Church app or at www.ourventure.church/give. If you would still like to give in person using a giving envelope, envelopes will be available at Guest Stop and can be dropped in one of our Giving Kiosks at the back of the auditorium.
- Our Prayer Team will not be available to pray for you during the worship element of our services. If you have a prayer request, we encourage you to submit your prayer request using the Venture Church app or by emailing [email protected]. All of these requests get prayed for weekly!

Kids Ministry:

We have reopened our Kids Ministry for children Kindergarten through 6th grade. In order to safely social distance, our max capacity is 20 kids per service and is filled on a first come basis.
- Kids are welcome to attend service with their parents.
- We also have our online Kids Service available on YouTube by 8:00AM on Sundays.
- Our Mother's Lounge has also been reopened for mom's with little kids.

Cafe & Drip Coffee:

We currently have drip coffee and espresso drinks available for purchase in the REACH Cafe.

We are so excited to see you!

Joining us live again for services will, unavoidably, feel different than you have been used to. We are continuing to work hard so that these adjustments still allow for an amazing experience at Venture Church. The worship, teaching, and friendliness of our staff and volunteers will still be what you have come to know and value from us. And please know, every modification made and additional precaution taken is out of love and care for your health. Thank you for your flexibility in these unprecedented times.

We cannot express how excited we are to FINALLY be together in-person again.
