Why Do We Call It Kingdom Builders?
Because that is how Jesus commissioned us! Jesus came proclaiming the Kingdom of God—and through his life, death, resurrection, and ascension to his rightful throne, that Kingdom is growing! From his place of glory, he sent the Holy Spirit to empower US to carry the gospel and build His Kingdom from Jerusalem to the ends of the earth (Matthew 28:18-20, John 16:7; John 20:21, Acts 1:8, 1 Corinthians 3:9, 2 Corinthians 5:20)!

Through parables and teaching, Jesus made it clear: while He is away, we are called to build his Kingdom (Luke 19:11–27). That means populating eternity—inviting people into life with Christ, serving in his name, and advancing the gospel until he returns.

Anyone can be a Kingdom Builder!  At Venture, there are three ways any person can join this shared mission. (1) You can GO! We hope that you will take the opportunities to travel on mission with us around the world. Check out all our opportunities HERE. (2) You can GET INVOLVED in being a Kingdom Builder at every level. Throughout these pages, you will see repeated invitations to Get Involved in local service and ministry. We hope you will click a link and start working alongside other Christians to Build God's Kingdom. (3) GIVE.  This is a critical part of how we accomplish together.

Let us say a little more about funding: At Venture there are two ways we combine our resources to advance our shared mission:

1. Faithful Tithing
2. Contributing to Common Fund called Kingdom Builders.   (More Creative Ways to Support Kingdom Builders - HERE)
   
   

Every Christian is called to tithe - first and foremost (Matt. 6:33). But we are also invited to be a Kingdom Builders. The tithe supports the work of our local church. Kingdom Builders helps us to work together with Jesus to (1) Support His Global mission, (2) Impact our Local Communities, and (3) Invest in Future Leaders. It's that simple.  Our combined giving to Kingdom Builders helps us multiply our impact and assure our individual and organizational partners that we have their backs!

Working together, we support strong local churches and build God's Kingdom UNTIL JESUS IS FAMOUS EVERYWHERE! 

We hope everyone who calls Venture home will tithe faithfully and then stretch in faith to become a Kingdom Builder. Every gift matters and every dollar above the tithe makes you a Kingdom Builder!

Our 5-Part Strategy: 

1. Prayerfully and carefully choose local and global partners, teams, and opportunities aligned to our three objectives: Global Mission, Local Impact, and Future Leaders.
2. Develop an annual stretch budget that aligns with our goals and enables us to make a meaningful impact.
3. Kick off each year by presenting our partners, teams, opportunities, and budget to our whole church community.
4. Keep everyone informed with updates on progress, celebrations, prayer requests, and investments throughout the year. 
5. Manage the budget and goals diligently so we can end each year rejoicing in God's good work and our combined faithfulness!
