What happens when everything feels ruined? Is God still working when His promises seem delayed?
In Part 2 of Ruins to Revival, Di walks through the incredible events of Daniel 5 and the fall of Babylon. From Belshazzar’s pride and the writing on the wall to the rise of King Cyrus, we see how God was working behind the scenes to fulfill a promise made generations earlier.
Even when God’s people were sitting in exile wondering when rescue would come, God had not forgotten them. He was preparing the way for their return, restoration, and rebuilding.
God is not slow in keeping His promises. He is patient, calling us to repentance. And no matter how broken or ruined things may seem, nothing can separate us from His love.
When we return to Him, He can restore what has been lost, help us rebuild, and once again pour out His Spirit. That is revival.
